FAQs
When would be the best time to book calligraphy services?
The sooner the better! Especially if your event is scheduled during peak wedding season. It is best to book all calligraphy services at least 6-7 months in advance to secure a spot on our schedule.
How long does it take you to complete an order?
All envelope addressing orders will be completed during the month before the client requested due date. This is to ensure that the calligrapher has the most up to date information as possible regarding guest information.
I’m in a pinch! Do you do rush orders?
All rush orders will be considered within reason according to my work schedule. Rush orders do come with an extra rush fee. Feel free to contact me to ask!
Can you imitate another artists lettering or font?
I will often use a font or lettering style as inspiration for a project and mix it with my own personal style. I will often ask my clients to send me inspiration photos of the vibe they like!
Who provides the materials?
Typically my clients or their custom stationer will provide the materials for envelope addressing. I can also provide a list of suggestions for places that have quality paper products.
Do I provide any extra materials?
Due to the nature of calligraphy, I ask that you provide 20% extra of materials needed to complete your project.
Do you provide spot calligraphy services?
Yes! I can work with your stationer to provide my calligraphy lettering to any custom stationery.
I’ve heard the Post Office can lose my mail! Is this true?
Yes, sadly this can happen. Once the envelopes leave their starting point, it’s pretty much out of our hands, which is why we recommend sending out your invitations 3-5 months in advance so that we are able to quickly replace any lost invitations.
